Around 1am on Friday March 19th, the Department was dispatched to Jacksonville & Burlington By-pass for a Automobile fire. Deputy 9001 (Tomer) arrived to find a vehicle heavily involved. Engine 9031 (Lt Steere) & Battalion 9002 (Sexton) worked to extinguish the car fire.

Around 3pm on the same day, Tower 9035 was requested to Edgewater Park for an Apartment Building fire. First arriving units found fire coming from two units in the building. Tower 9035 laddered the building for a means of emergency egress and worked inside the units checking for any hidden fire in the walls & ceiling. Cascade 9038 & Air 90 worked to refill air bottles on scene, Deputy 9001 (Tomer) was assigned as the Side C commander, and Battalion 9002 (Sexton) assisted with the crews on the interior
